सेना के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों हेतु सेना मुख्यालय लखनऊ छावनी क्षेत्र में मशरूम इकाई की स्थापना हेतु प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन
मशरूम उत्पादन इकाई की स्थापना हेतु मेजर नवनीत कुमार, सेना चिकित्सा कोर अभिलेख, छावनी, लखनऊ के अनुरोध पर दिनांक 16-17 दिसंबर, 2021 के दौरान छावनी, लखनऊ में सेना के जवानों हेतु डॉ. पी.के. शुक्ला, प्रधान वैज्ञानिक द्वारा एक प्रशिक्षण का आयोजन किया गया । इस प्रशिक्षण में दिनांक 16 दिसंबर, 2021 को प्रशिक्षण स्थल का भ्रमण कर प्रशिक्षण सम्बंधी सभी तैयारियां कीं एवं ब्रिगेडियर सैजवीर सिंह के साथ उनकी प्रशिक्षण से उनकी अपेक्षाओं के बारे में चर्चा की । दिनांक 17 दिसंबर, 2021 को मशरूम की खेती के कार्य के लिए प्रतिनियुक्त पांच सैनिकों को पूरे दिन प्रशिक्षण दिया गया और शाम को यूनिट के 50 से अधिक अधिकारियों और सैनिकों के लिए पावरपॉइंट प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से प्रस्तुति की गई।
इस अवसर पर, डॉ. नीलिमा गर्ग, कार्यवाहक निदेशक, भा.कृ.अनु.प.- के.उ.बा.स. ने सभा को संबोधित किया और सेना के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया और संस्थान से पूरे समर्थन का आश्वासन दिया। उन्होंने ब्रिगेडियर सैजवीर सिंह को अपनी यूनिट के अधिकारियों एवं सैनिकों की भा.कृ.अनु.प.- के.उ.बा.स. के भ्रमण हेतु व्यवस्था करने और बागवानी सम्बंधी विभिन्न कौशल में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने की भी सलाह दी। डॉ. पी.के. शुक्ला ने मशरूम की विभिन्न प्रजातियों के पोषण एवं औषधीय गुणों और उनकी उत्पादन तकनीक के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। भा.कृ.अनु.प.- के.उ.बा.स. के एबीआई इनक्यूबेटी श्री विवेक सिंह ने भी कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया और बटन मशरूम के फलों के बैग तैयार किए। कुल मिलाकर ऑयस्टर मशरूम के 21 बैग बनाये गए और उन्हें स्पॉन रन के लिए रखा गया। प्रशिक्षुओं को मशरूम की खेती के लिए कमरे की आवश्यकता के लिए भी निर्देशित किया गया और तदनुसार बेकार टिन/एस्बेस्टस शीट और लकड़ी का उपयोग करके खेती के कमरे के निर्माण पर काम शुरू किया गया । मशरूम रखने के रैक भी बेकार लकड़ी से तैयार किए जाएंगे। एक सप्ताह के भीतर कमरे के निर्माण के बाद रेडी टू फ्रूट बटन मशरूम बैग की आपूर्ति की जाएगी और इकाई एक पखवाड़े की अवधि के भीतर मशरूम के उत्पादन में आ जाएगी। यूनिट के 400 से अधिक सैनिकों को भोजन कराने वाले आर्मी मेस में खपत के लिए उत्पादन लक्ष्य 20-25 किलोग्राम प्रति दिन निर्धारित किया गया है। कार्यक्रम का समापन एक दूसरे को धन्यवाद के साथ हुआ।
In response to the request of Major Navneet Kumar, Sena Chikitsa Corps Abhilekh, Cantonment, Lucknow regarding establishment of ‘Mushroom Production Unit’, a training of army personnel was organized at Lucknow Cantonment during December 16-17, 2021. Dr. P.K. Shukla, Principal Scientist visited the location, arranged preparatory work and had a discussion with Brigadier Saijvir Singh regarding his expectations on December 16, 2021. The training of five soldiers deputed for the task of ‘Cultivation of Mushrooms’ was conducted for full day on December 17, 2021 and in the evening Power Point presentation was given for over 50 officers and soldiers of the Unit.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Neelima Garg, Acting Director, ICAR-CISH addressed the gathering and expressed her gratitude towards Indian Army and assured wholehearted support from THE ICAR-CISH, Lucknow. She also invited Brigadier Saijvir Singh for paying a visit of officers and soldiers of his unit to ICAR-CISH for further training in various horticultural skills. Dr. P.K. Shukla explained in detail about the nutritional and medicinal values of different species of mushroom; and their production technology. The ABI Incubatee of ICAR-CISH Mr Vivek Singh also participated in the programme and displayed ready to fruit bags of button mushroom. In total, 21 bags of Oyster mushroom were spawned and placed for spawn-run. The trainees were also guided for the requirement of mushroom cultivation room, and accordingly the work on construction of cultivation rooms was initiated by utilizing waste tin/asbestos sheets and wood. The racks for placing mushrooms will also be prepared from waste wood. After construction of room within a week time, ready to fruit button mushroom bags will be supplied and the unit will come into production of mushrooms within a fortnight period. The production target is fixed from 20-25 kg per day for consumption in ‘Army Mess’ feeding over 400 soldiers of the unit. The programme ended with thanks to each other.
